Privacy Policy

Last updated July 29, 2026.

The short version: this site does not track you. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising pixels, and no cookies set by us. Nothing you do here is recorded or sold.

The longer version below explains the few places where a third party is involved, because being accurate matters more than being brief.

Who runs this site

Lucky The Barber, operated by Lance "Lucky" Mendoza, at 1050 Rock Springs Rd, Unit 122, Escondido, CA 92026. You can reach us by phone at (419) 464-4037 or by Email.

What we collect

Nothing, directly. This site has no contact form, no newsletter signup, no login, and no shopping cart. There is no field anywhere on it for you to type information into.

If you call, text, or email us, we have whatever you chose to send: your name, your number, and what you asked for. We use it to answer you and to book your appointment. We do not add you to a mailing list and we do not share it.

Cookies

We do not set any. The one exception is outside our control: the map on the home page is embedded from Google Maps, and Google may set cookies through that embed. See the next section.

Third parties

Two services load content into the page itself, which means your browser contacts them and they can see your IP address, roughly where you are, and what browser you use:

  • 01Google Maps, the map showing the shop location. Google may set cookies through it, and Google's own privacy policy applies.
  • 02Google Fonts, which serves the typefaces this site is set in.

Everything else is a plain link. Nothing is sent to Square, Instagram, or Google's business listing until you actually click through. Once you do, you are on their site under their rules, not ours.

Booking is the one worth calling out: the Book button hands you to Square, who run the appointment calendar. The name, phone number, and email you enter there go to Square and to us, and Square's privacy policy governs what they do with it. We never see your card details.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses and requested pages, to serve the site and block abuse. We do not use those logs to build a profile of you.

Your rights

California residents have the right to know what personal information a business has collected about them, to request its deletion, and to opt out of its sale. We do not sell personal information to anyone, for any purpose. To ask what we hold or to have it deleted, call or email using the details above and we will handle it.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If how this site handles information changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top moves. There is no separate notification list to join.
